With the pneumonia epidemic developing more and more tensely, necessary items to prevent the epidemic such as medical masks of all kinds, hand, foot and mouth sanitizer products are more necessary than ever.
Due to the fluctuating medical mask market in Hanoi in recent times, not only the people have been affected but also foreign tourists have encountered many difficulties in finding and purchasing medical masks. Understanding these difficulties, the free mask distribution campaign by the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club has been implemented to contribute to the prevention of pneumonia caused by the nCoV virus.

On the first "launching day" of February 4, the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club organized 4 free distribution points including: Museum of Ethnology, Ngoc Son Temple, Temple of Literature and Heritage House 87 Ma May.

With the criteria of ensuring epidemic prevention, the Club only chooses 3-layer and 4-layer antibacterial and waterproof masks from reputable suppliers. The masks are delivered to visitors in the form of 3 masks in a cellophane package to send to each visitor.
Face masks become practical for domestic and international tourists

On the morning of February 4, more than 1,000 masks were sent to domestic and international tourists. The distribution points at the Temple of Literature and Ngoc Son Temple reached many foreign tourists due to the large number of visitors.

The distribution point at the Heritage House 87 Ma May was a little less crowded, so foreign tourists were guided and advised carefully by volunteers on how to use the masks that were distributed for free at the counter. French tourist - Jullian at the Heritage House Ma May tourist attraction, shared: "Thank you very much for this thoughtfulness, I have had a hard time finding masks at the pharmacies around here in the past few days."

As the media sponsor of the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club, Travellive magazine also contributed 2,000 free masks to the campaign.
