To contribute to the prevention of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus (nCoV), the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club is launching a program to distribute free face masks to tourists at popular tourist attractions in Hanoi, starting from February 3, 2020.

Given the increasingly tense situation with the pneumonia epidemic, the Government, ministries, agencies, and the people of Vietnam are all implementing and complying with epidemic prevention and control measures as guided. In particular, the Market Management Departments of provinces and cities are focusing on strengthening inspections and controls of the business of goods such as medical masks, hand sanitizers, and other related products throughout the distribution chain (including traditional businesses and e-commerce) to take strong action, including revoking licenses from establishments that manipulate prices and hoard goods, preventing them from being supplied to the market.
