Due to the complex developments of the Coronavirus outbreak and the latest announcement from the Government, many travel companies and tourists have canceled tours to China. Among them, Vietrantour is the first company to offer a 100% refund policy for customers who have already purchased tours.

On the morning of January 30th, Vietrantour announced that it would refund 100% of tour costs and waive all cancellation/postponement fees for tourists who had registered for tours to China, until the epidemic is completely under control.

Popular tourist destinations in China are deserted or isolated at this time.

Accordingly, customers will have the right to cancel their registered China tour and receive a full refund. If customers wish to switch to another tour of equal value, Vietrantour will offer a discount of VND 800,000 per person. If switching to a higher-value tour, customers will pay the difference, and this discount policy will still apply.

"By deciding to refund 100% of the tour cost to customers and waive all cancellation/postponement fees under the current circumstances, Vietrantour believes this is a positive gesture of cooperation with tourists during this sensitive time. This is because the outbreak of the nCOV-2019 acute pneumonia epidemic is considered a force majeure event as stipulated in the contract signed between Vietrantour and its customers," a Vietrantour representative shared.
