When the cafe combines a European-style lounge bar

L'Apella Cafe & Lounge is located on the ground floor of a 4-storey villa at No. 1, Street 16, Thao Dien. The villa was built between 2008 and 2010, with European inspiration, combining classic French and Czech architecture.

Mr. Kei Dinh - Founder of L'Apella Cafe & Lounge shared that when it came into operation in June this year, L'Apella still kept the original architecture of the building. Only adding decorative patterns and 18-carat gold plating on the ceiling of some lobby areas, along with a classic-style interior system to match the original spirit of the villa.

Sharing about the combination of a cafe model during the day and a lounge bar at night, Kei Dinh said: "In the late afternoon, in the main hall of the villa, a Jazz song rang out while I was considering whether to turn this into a restaurant or a simple cafe. The Jazz music blended so romantically into the European-style space of this villa. L'apella Cafe & Lounge was born in such a situation, a destination for many young people right in the center of District 2 with a private, gentle space with music."

At night, L'Apella Lounge becomes more charming with the sound of Jazz music in the dark night. The bar aims to build a private space for customers to chat, date or enjoy a bit of peace with a glass of wine or unique cocktails under the melodious music. L'Apella has 3 live music nights per week (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) with an ensemble band (saxophone/violin/piano & guitar), Jazz band, R&B and pop ballad.

L'Apella Cafe's menu focuses mainly on healthy drinks such as fruit teas, juices and detox drinks. Salt coffee and coconut coffee are the signature favorites. Butterfly pea flowers, mint, jasmine and rosemary are also grown by the L'Apella team, in order to bring customers safe and healthy drinks.

L'Apella Lounge's night menu is quite diverse with cocktails, mocktails and wines. "The lounge's drink menu is imbued with the Zero-waste philosophy. The bar makes use of all ingredients, not releasing waste into the environment. The used ingredients are pressed and put into ashtrays...", Kei Dinh said.

You can also visit L'Apella to participate in activities to relax after a stressful working week. There are often workshops on weekends such as painting, making aquariums, flower arranging, pottery making...

In addition, L'Apella also organizes wine tasting classes in the main lobby, tea parties in the lobby, or pool party events in the swimming pool, serving additional floating food sets for taking pictures with friends. At night, L'Apella is a suitable destination for couples to date, a place to hold birthday parties...
