When a cafe combines with a European-style lounge bar.

L'Apella Cafe & Lounge is located on the ground floor of a four-story villa at 1, Street 16, Thao Dien. The villa, built between 2008 and 2010, is inspired by European architecture, combining classic French and Czech styles.

Kei Dinh, Founder of L'Apella Cafe & Lounge, shared that when it opened in June this year, L'Apella retained the original architecture of the building. The only additions were decorative patterns and 18-carat gold plating on the ceilings of some lobby areas, along with classic-style interior design to match the original spirit of the villa.

Sharing his thoughts on the combination of a daytime café and a nighttime lounge bar, Kei Dinh said: "In the late afternoon, a jazz tune played in the main lobby of the villa while I was considering whether to turn it into a restaurant or simply a café. The jazz music blended romantically into the European-style atmosphere of the villa. L'apella Cafe & Lounge was born in that context, a destination for many young people right in the heart of District 2 with a private, relaxing space and music."

At night, L'Apella Lounge becomes even more enchanting with the sounds of jazz music playing in the dim light. The venue aims to create a private space for guests to chat, date, or simply enjoy a moment of peace with a glass of wine or a unique cocktail while listening to soothing music. L'Apella features three live music nights a week (Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) with instrumental bands (saxophone/violin/piano & guitar), jazz bands, R&B, and pop ballads.

The L'Apella Cafe menu primarily focuses on healthy drinks such as fruit teas, juices, and detox drinks. Salted coffee and coconut coffee are popular signature items. The L'Apella team also grows their own butterfly pea flowers, mint, jasmine, and rosemary to provide customers with safe and healthy beverages.

L'Apella Lounge's evening menu is quite diverse, featuring cocktails, mocktails, and wines. "The lounge's drink menu embodies the Zero-waste philosophy. The establishment utilizes all ingredients, ensuring no waste is released into the environment. Used ingredients are pressed and placed in ashtrays," Kei Dinh explained.

You can also visit L'Apella to participate in activities to relax after a stressful week of work. They frequently host weekend workshops such as painting, aquarium building, flower arranging, pottery making, and more.

Additionally, L'Apella also organizes wine tasting classes in the main lobby, afternoon tea in the lobby, or pool parties at the swimming pool, and serves floating food sets for photo opportunities with friends. At night, L'Apella is a suitable destination for couples on dates, birthday parties, and more.
