Christmas is the biggest holiday of the year in Western countries. In big cities, people have a tradition of organizing a month-long Christmas night market, this is an opportunity to shop, have fun, enjoy the year-end atmosphere and welcome the new year.
This year, facing rising energy prices, many cities in Europe have decided to reduce the use of decorative lights during the Christmas season to save costs. Europeans also hope that this Christmas season will be an opportunity for them to enjoy the festive atmosphere after two consecutive Christmases were restricted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
