British Christmas Jumpers, which has previously supplied sweaters to singer Ed Sheeran and the Palace of Westminster, is taking on another special Christmas jumper this year - for a T-Rex model at the Palace of Westminster.Natural History Museum London.
The T-Rex sweater weighs 12 times more than a regular sweater and took 100 hours to make, according to company director Snahal Patel. The fabric is made from recycled yarn and plastic bottles, making it a sustainable fashion product.
"We have never done anything like this. My father has been in this field for 35 to 40 years, and he has never had an order like this," said Mr. Patel. "This is probably the biggest order the company has ever received. There will be other special large projects in the future."

Not only are the dinosaurs dressed up, but full-size Christmas sweaters are also on sale at the Museum, so visitors can support the project. All proceeds from the sweater sales will go towards the research and care of the Natural History Museum London.
Carla Treasure, a museum employee, said they wanted to do something fun to encourage people to come back and get into the Christmas spirit after a difficult year. "I think the T-Rex looks really handsome," she joked.

Other exhibitions have also been held at museums across the UK, with prehistoric skeletons decorated in Christmas style to welcome visitors. For example, the 12-foot tall T-Rex skeleton at Manchester Museum was given a giant Santa hat by staff to celebrate its opening in December.
