The resort is spread over 35 acres and boasts miles of pristine beach - all promising exciting activities for all ages, for those who are passionate about learning about culture as well as poetic seascapes.
New family villa
Newly expanded in late 2016, the family villas offer a more open space with an area of 104m2. The children's room has its own bathroom, equipped with a sofa bed, writing desk, TV and video games, a variety of entertainment and other amenities, creating an ideal "den" for the little ones. Parents have a separate master bedroom, elegantly decorated with a highlight of a high wooden platform in the middle of the room where the king-sized bed is placed and a bathroom with a hidden wooden partition.
At the rear of the villa, the master bathroom overlooks a private garden with an outdoor shower. The beach is just steps away, with sun loungers on the outdoor patio. There are also kid-friendly amenities such as robes and small coat hangers, games and snacks.
Dragonfly Club for kids
Newly launched at the end of 2016, the little guests now have their own private play space - Dragonfly Club - with a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, and a free entertainment program that changes every day to satisfy the adventurous spirit of children from 4 to 12 years old.
Children can wade freely in the shallow oval pool, lie on the loungers around the small pool, squeeze through the winding pipes in the garden or build sandcastles on the covered sandbank. The building has a mini kitchen, a fish pond and a dollhouse for role-playing, a play area specializing in physical activities and dancing, and a separate corner for children who like crafts.
Recreational activities range from fruit carving, lantern making, kite flying to tennis, water gun shooting and stilt walking; children can even help the gardeners at the resort's herb and vegetable farm.
The club is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Children are offered age-appropriate entertainment led by experienced English-speaking staff. They can join for just a few hours or stay for the whole day. A varied lunch – including resort-exclusive ice cream – can be served on site (at an additional cost). Private babysitters can be booked 24 hours in advance for a nominal fee.
The Nam Hai Culinary Academy for Children and other outstanding on-site amenities
Exclusive to The Nam Hai, the Kids Club offers a range of exciting activities including joining The Nam Hai Children's Culinary Academy, visiting the pristine ancient temple on site, and experiencing Yoga with experts from 'The Heart of the Earth Spa'. In addition, the Children's Culinary Academy operates from 3pm to 4pm every day, offering free instruction to future chefs in spring roll rolling, cookie baking, chocolate making, and many other culinary skills. There is also Family Entertainment with the Culinary Academy and spa treatments, as well as water sports, tennis, badminton, basketball (small field), volleyball, cycling, and guided cultural tours: learn how to row a basket boat; ride a water buffalo; go traditional fishing; or visit ancient UNESCO-recognized heritage sites such as Hoi An Ancient Town, Hue Imperial City, and My Son Sanctuary.
In addition, guests can enjoy unique on-site experiences that provide in-depth knowledge of traditional customs on this campus, from rituals at the BAN TIN temple in the resort to the daily Candle Lighting Ceremony to pray for good fortune, health and prosperity. Furthermore, your whole family is warmly welcomed at the Heart of the Holy Land Spa every evening to release floating candles on the lotus pond to the serene and tranquil sound of jade gongs.
