Cuc Phuong National Park (or Cuc Phuong forest) is a nature reserve, a special-use forest located on the border of three regions: the Northwest, the Red River Delta and the North Central Coast, belonging to three provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa.

This national park has a rich and diverse flora and fauna typical of tropical rainforests. Many highly endangered species of flora and fauna have been discovered and preserved here. However, this is also the first national park in Vietnam.

The forest is located about 120 km southwest of Hanoi, so it is quite convenient to travel here. This is not only a place to visit and relax with ancient caves, thousand-year-old trees or primate rescue centers, but in recent years, Cuc Phuong forest has also been known to many people for its specialty of butterflies flying all over the sky in late spring and early summer.

Here, the most popular are white butterflies. In addition, there are countless other colorful wild butterflies such as the Phoenix butterfly, the Star butterfly... that captivate visitors. In particular, these butterflies have a full range of colors from white to blue, brown, or pink...

Visiting the national park, you have the opportunity to admire the diversity of the animal world. There are more than 400 species of butterflies and millions of individuals here competing to show off their colors. Butterflies often appear most on sunny days, turning this place into a colorful forest. This is also the time when Cuc Phuong forest welcomes many tourists to visit and admire. If you go with your family, this is the opportunity for you to let your children directly interact with the vivid habitat of animals.

For nature lovers, the butterfly season in Cuc Phuong is a scene that can never be forgotten in a lifetime. The irresistibly beautiful photos make people linger forever and wait for another butterfly season to return, to bask in the sunlight and fluttering butterflies. Coming here, visitors can only be absent-minded, absorbed in following the butterflies, watching those small creatures fluttering in the sunlight, feeling as if life is growing and flourishing in the forest.

In addition, you should visit on a sunny day to be able to admire this extremely beautiful scenery.
