Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the night tour product at Ngoc Son Temple.

“In implementing the city’s policy of developing cultural industries, we realize that heritage, no matter how valuable, is still just a “resource”. To create an attraction to attract tourists and maximize the value of heritage, it is necessary to turn that heritage value into a cultural product, thereby contributing to creating momentum for socio-economic development. To realize that awareness, the Management Board of Monuments and Landscapes has built the experience program “Ngoc Son - Mysterious Night” to exploit and serve the experience needs of people and tourists”, Mr. Nguyen Doan Van expressed.

The program is divided into 5 main themes, corresponding to the separate architectural areas of Ngoc Son Temple relic, including: The ceremony of giving the Holy Words - at the Pen Tower area; The ritual of welcoming the spiritual energy of heaven and earth - at the The Huc bridge and Dac Nguyet Lau area; The legend of King Le Loi returning the sword takes place at the lake area in front of Tran Ba communal house; The ceremony of praying for peace takes place in the main temple area; visiting the exhibition room of the turtle specimen of Hoan Kiem Lake and sightseeing at the temple.

The difference of the program compared to other night products of Hanoi is the combination of ancient architecture of the special national relic Ngoc Son Temple and the rituals and folk legends passed down at the relic.

The program uses sound, light, modern projection technology combined with performances to convey to visitors traditional Vietnamese cultural values in a new way.

The sword fight was elaborately staged.

Along with songs about Hanoi and artistic dances on The Huc Bridge, the program also recreated King Le returning the precious sword to the golden turtle on a dragon boat. This is also an attractive performance for locals and tourists not only because of the use of technology on the water but also because of its mysterious epic nature.

Participating in the experience program, visitors can immerse themselves in traditional Vietnamese folk cultural rituals.

The launch of the “Ngoc Son - Mysterious Night” experience product contributes to enriching Hanoi’s tourism products, which is expected to promote the development of the capital’s cultural industry. After the launch night, the Hanoi Monuments and Landscapes Management Board will begin welcoming guests to experience the program every Monday to Friday evening. It is expected to serve 60-70 guests each night.

Ngoc Son Temple is located in the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple National Monument Complex, one of the most famous landmarks of the Capital.
