Ha Long (Quang Ninh)
For many years, Ha Long Bay has consistently been one of the most popular destinations for international tourists visiting Vietnam. However, it's not just Ha Long Bay; in Quang Ninh province, visitors can enjoy a full range of wonderful experiences for all travel enthusiasts, from majestic mountains and tropical islands to vibrant cities, ancient cultural heritage sites, and unique cuisine.
Climbing Bai Tho Mountain
In terms of natural topography, Quang Ninh can be divided into three regions: mountainous areas, midland and coastal plains, and sea and islands, each with its own unique characteristics. The mountainous region boasts destinations such as Binh Lieu, Yen Tu, Sa Vy Cape, Yen Trung Lake, Khe Van Waterfall, Song Mooc Waterfall, Son Cave, and Milestone 1305; the midland and coastal plains are famous for Long Vang Cape and Pac Sui Waterfall; and the sea and islands are particularly unique with over 2,000 islands (accounting for more than two-thirds of the country's islands) stretching along more than 250 km of coastline, divided into many layers. Some islands are very large, such as Van Don, Co To, Cai Bau, and Ban Sen, while others are as small as miniature mountains. In Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, there are thousands of limestone islands, originally karst formations, eroded by water to create countless shapes, and inside are fascinating caves. The coastal and island areas of Quang Ninh, besides alluvial plains, also feature white sand beaches created by the waves, forming wonderful swimming spots such as Tra Co, Quan Lan, Minh Chau, and Ngoc Vung…
Co To Island
Besides its natural landscapes, Quang Ninh is also home to more than 600 fascinating historical, cultural, and spiritual relics such as Truc Lam - Yen Tu, the Tran Dynasty relic site in Dong Trieu, Bach Dang stake field in Quang Yen, Cua Ong Temple in Cam Pha, etc.

The main tourist season here lasts from May to the end of September, but it welcomes visitors year-round.

Besides famous beaches like Cat Co 1, Cat Co 2, and Cat Co 3 near the town center, Cat Ba also boasts over 100 other golden sandy beaches scattered across the islands and along the bay, secluded yet charming. Cat Ba National Park
Along the road through the national park, mountains and forests line both sides, dotted with charming homestays. In Cat Ba, hundreds of households offer tourism services. They preserve traditional houses for visitors to stay in, and some have expanded their space to sell food. In many houses, the owners are both vendors and guides for mountain trekking. The path through the pine forest is frequented by hikers every day. This unique trekking route is only a little over 2 km long, but it takes 3 hours to reach the summit of Ngu Lam, the highest mountain in Cat Ba.

Con Son (Con Dao)
Con Son, also known as Con Lon or Phu Hai, is the largest island in the Con Dao archipelago, a notorious prison complex in Vietnam that has now been transformed into a tourist paradise with the well-preserved Con Dao National Park. Con Son is surrounded by warm, turquoise waters and beautiful coral reefs. The island remains relatively unspoiled, not as bustling with tourists as Nha Trang, nor as vibrant as Phu Quoc. There isn't much to do here except relax and swim on the beautiful beaches, often finding yourself alone on a long stretch of beach without having to compete with anyone.
Con Son has beautiful beaches such as An Hai, Ong Dung, Dam Trau...
At An Hai Bay, about 1 km from Con Son town, pearl divers and fishermen anchor their boats, replacing them with bamboo basket boats to navigate through the rice fields. Along the bay's shoreline to the southern peak of the island, visitors can admire panoramic views of Con Son from all directions: rocky beaches to the east, the harbor and town to the north, and the rocky hills to the west. The highest point is Mount Thanh Gia, known as the "roof" of Con Dao. It's about 3 km from Con Son town to the foot of the mountain and about 6 km to the summit. Visitors usually spend over an hour conquering the summit of Mount Thanh Gia, which is often shrouded in mist year-round.
