Malaysia's relationship with Vietnam is one of long-standing friendship. Therefore, this program aims to promote Malaysia as a leading tourist destination in the Vietnamese market. Not only does it have a convenient network of direct flights between Vietnam and Malaysia, but Malaysia is also a safe, family-friendly holiday destination, as well as a culinary and shopping paradise.”

At the event, Columbia Leisure Sdn Bhd, one of the leading inbound travel agencies based in Kuala Lumpur, also introduced its services and business proposals for travel companies in Ho Chi Minh City to develop new tour packages to Malaysia.

Vietnam is a key market for Malaysia, and the Malaysia Tourism Board aims to attract more Vietnamese tourists, both those who have never been to Malaysia and those who will return frequently, in order to boost the strong recovery of this tourism industry.
