He accepts Vietnam's "vaccine passport".
On October 26th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested that the UK recognize COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued by Vietnam during a phone call with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. As expected, Vietnam has become one of the countries whose vaccine passports are recognized by the UK.
According to the UK government, those with proof of having received both doses of the vaccine must be tested for Covid-19 within two days of arrival and will only be quarantined if the result is positive. Vaccines approved in the UK include AstraZeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson's Janssen. Variants of some of these vaccines will also be approved, such as Covishield – manufactured by AstraZeneca in India – and Moderna Takeda from Japan.
Currently, the UK allows the use of a combination of two vaccines, provided they are on the list above, and also accepts two doses administered in two different locations. People who have recovered from Covid-19 are not counted as fully vaccinated.

Information on vaccination certificates may be in English, Spanish, or French and issued by a state health authority. The minimum information required includes: full name, date of birth, type of vaccine administered and manufacturer, date of first and second doses, and the country/territory issuing the certificate.
