Lỗ Hữu Đức Anh, a travel blogger, recently shared his favorite autumn sightseeing destinations in South Korea. During his travels, Đức Anh experienced all four seasons in South Korea – spring, summer, autumn, and winter – but autumn held a special place for him. Even though he's now back in Vietnam, the memories of those autumn days in South Korea remain vivid.
Like other countries, autumn in South Korea begins in September and lasts until November each year. Therefore, this is the time of year when South Korea receives the most tourists due to its beautiful scenery and pleasant weather.
If you have the chance to wander through South Korea in the autumn, immerse yourself in nature to admire the vibrant red of the ginkgo leaves or the golden yellow of the birch leaves that cover everything.
According to Duc Anh, the best places to see autumn scenery in South Korea are mainly located on Jinan Road, the fir tree road in Damyang, the ginkgo tree road in Gochang, the folk village in Suncheon, the Hanok village in Jeonju, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Mintungsan Mountain, Changdokgung Palace, and finally Nami Island.

Duc Anh cycled among rows of cypress trees in Jinan, Jeollanam-buk province. "The moment of cycling between the rows of cypress trees felt like being in a movie, with dozens of cameras at both ends of the road taking pictures of me. If you want to see the orange color of the cypress trees in late autumn, mid-November onwards is the right time," Duc Anh said.

It is precisely because of the peaceful beauty of this place that Duc Anh visits it 5-6 times a year.
For him, a beautiful photograph is one that evokes emotion, so that years later, when he looks back, the feelings of that day are like a film reel rewinding through his memories. The photo shows autumn with its golden hues covering a ginkgo tree-lined road.

The time-traveling village in Suncheon is called Naganeupseong Folk Village. It's the filming location for many scenes in Korean historical dramas that we all watched in our childhoods.
Autumn on Nami Island is also a popular time for tourists to visit, enjoying the cool, relaxing atmosphere and admiring the beauty of the natural scenery.
