Myanmar's National Central Committee for COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment announced that it will reopen all international flights from April 17th, and resume regular flights. Currently, the number of COVID-19 infections in Myanmar is decreasing.
According to Myanmar's Ministry of Health, foreign visitors to the country must quarantine for one week, undergo two PCR tests, and provide proof of full vaccination.
This decision aims to revive the tourism industry, improve business operations, and facilitate visits for international tourists to Myanmar.

Myanmar closed its borders to foreign visitors since March 2020 to prevent the spread of the pandemic. Following the political upheaval in February 2021, Myanmar's economy, including its tourism sector, suffered a devastating impact.
The decision to reopen to international visitors on April 17th aims to revive the tourism industry, improve business operations, and facilitate visits for international tourists to Myanmar.
