As the world enters the post-Covid-19 era, many countries and territories are simultaneously easing restrictions and moving towards completely eliminating regulations, in order to reopen and welcome international tourists back.
Cambodia
On March 17, the Cambodian Ministry of Health decided to waive the requirement to present a negative PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 within 72 hours and to waive the rapid Covid-19 test for tourists entering Cambodia. In addition, authorities will reissue entry visas to all international tourists, including those arriving by air, land, and sea.
However, the Cambodian Ministry of Health still encourages all travelers to self-test. In addition, all passengers must present a Covid-19 vaccination certificate upon arrival in Cambodia. If an entrant has not received all the necessary doses of the vaccine, they will be required to quarantine for 14 days at a location designated by the Cambodian Ministry of Health or an authorized agency.

Thailand
During a meeting on March 18, Kiattiphum Wongrajit, Permanent Secretary of the Thai Ministry of Public Health, stated that the Thai government plans to ease restrictions on international tourists visiting the country. This is one of four steps to make Covid-19 an endemic disease.
Accordingly, for tourists arriving under the Test & Go program, the mandatory requirement to present a negative PCR test result within 72 hours before entry will be waived. Tourists arriving in Thailand will only need to take a PCR test after entry and a rapid test after 5 days. The mandatory insurance coverage required for tourists will be reduced from USD 50,000 to USD 10,000.

Korea
On March 11, the South Korean government announced that foreign visitors who have been vaccinated will be exempt from quarantine upon entry and will not need a negative Covid-19 test certificate. Visitors only need to provide documentation proving they have received two doses of a World Health Organization-approved Covid-19 vaccine, between 14 and 180 days prior to entry, or have received a third dose.
However, the announcement also clarified that citizens from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Myanmar would not be eligible for this new policy.
UAE
Tourists who have received both doses of the vaccine do not need to be tested before departure to Abu Dhabi, UAE, and will receive a free PCR test upon arrival. During their trip to the UAE, tourists need to update their vaccination certificate on the Alhosn app to enter shopping malls, restaurants, etc.

Maldives
Currently, tourists entering the Maldives do not need to present a negative Covid-19 test result upon arrival and can freely travel between islands in the Maldives. However, tourists must still complete a travel health declaration within 48 hours before their flight. The government also encourages PCR testing on the third or fifth day after arrival.
Jordan
From March, people entering Jordan are no longer required to take a PCR test before arrival or upon entry. However, visitors are still required to wear masks and practice social distancing when using public transport and in outdoor spaces.
Slovenia
Slovenia is the fourth country in the world to lift all entry requirements, allowing foreign visitors to enter as they did before the pandemic. Slovenia's RVT (Recovery/Vaccination/Testing) program has ceased implementation at the border and within the country. Now, visitors no longer need to present a negative test result, proof of recent recovery, or vaccination certificate to enter. Museums, restaurants, resorts, and other activities have also reopened without requiring proof of Covid-19.
However, although Slovenia has lifted most Covid-19-related restrictions, wearing masks remains mandatory in indoor public events/activities.
