Summit One Vanderbilt is a four-story entertainment space with an area of ​​6 square meters.²Located atop the 67-story One Vanderbilt building, the observation deck features a glass-walled elevator, transparent glass boxes, and a room entirely covered in mirrors. The interior of the observation deck was designed by Snøhetta, while the art experience throughout was created by the Kenzo Digital team.

The creative team at Kenzo Digital designed the Air art installation, positioned to offer panoramic views of Manhattan from its reflective surfaces, creating the illusion of infinite space. From this vantage point, you not only get an unobstructed view of the city skyline but also enjoy a vibrant art space combining sound and light. Thanks to this unique design, Summit One Vanderbilt is unlike any other high-altitude observation deck in the world, making it an ideal destination for adventure seekers and thrill-seekers.

Kenzo Digital, artist and CEO of Kenzo Digital Immersive, said: “Beyond its physical form, Air is a living entity, expressed through the multi-sensory approach in sound, light, and production design. It’s a story that unfolds across successive dimensions, leading participants deeper and deeper into the space, ultimately making them a part of it.”

In addition to Air, the observatory also features a Nordic-style café and an outdoor terrace along the west and south sides of One Vanderbilt called Summit Terrace. Visitors can also experience the Levitation Sky Box, where you stand inside a transparent glass box, and Ascent – ​​four-sided glass-enclosed outdoor elevators that can take you up to approximately 366 meters above the ground.
