The Covid-19 pandemic is raging and evolving in Vietnam and globally. However, this doesn't mean everyone is "standing still." Many tourists still want to enjoy a relaxing vacation, taking advantage of the amenities offered by resorts while ensuring safety.

In the context of the pandemic and recognizing customer needs, InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is upgrading its hygiene standards as part of InterContinental® Hotel Group's (IHG) global "Clean Promise" campaign. Through this campaign, IHG will collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement new service procedures aimed at providing maximum protection while ensuring guests feel comfortable and confident throughout the pandemic.

Specifically, the resort will enhance its deep cleaning and regular disinfection procedures throughout the property, minimize physical contact at the reception desk by using electronic invoices instead of paper ones, and install additional hand sanitizing stations.

With food and beverage services, the minibar will be eliminated, but guests can still order drinks through room service. Restaurants and bars will use electronic menus, ensuring both hygiene and environmental friendliness. Guests can simply scan a QR code to view and order using their phone or other personal electronic devices. Additionally, disposable menus will be provided and discarded immediately after use. For breakfast at Sora & Umi, chefs and staff will serve guests' choices from a buffet with a wide variety of dishes at their table, promising a delicious and energizing breakfast.

In the guest rooms, decorative items on the bed, as well as information about the resort and menus, have all been removed. Instead, guests can find this information on the TV screen in their room.

Recreational amenities including the swimming pool, Planet Trekkers Kids Club, gym, beach, and water sports activities remain available to cater to guests' leisure and relaxation needs. These facilities will be maintained in a clean and safe environment, in line with the criteria of the "Clean Promise" campaign.
