In the context of the pandemic and understanding the needs of customers, InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is innovating its hygiene standards according to the global campaign "Clean Promise" of InterContinental® Hotel Group (IHG). With this campaign, IHG will coordinate with medical experts to apply new service procedures to provide maximum protection, while helping visitors feel comfortable and confident during the pandemic.
Specifically, the resort will enhance deep cleaning and periodic disinfection procedures everywhere, minimize physical contact at the reception desk such as using electronic invoices instead of paper invoices, and adding hand sanitizer stations.
The cleaning process ensures a safe space for guests to relax.
For food service, the Minibar will be removed, but guests can still order drinks through room service. Restaurants and bars will apply electronic menus, ensuring both hygiene and environmental friendliness. Guests just need to scan the QR code to view and order dishes using their phones or personal electronic devices. In addition, disposable menus will also be provided and discarded immediately after use. For breakfast at Sora & Umi, chefs and staff will serve at the table what guests choose from the buffet with a variety of dishes, promising a delicious and energetic breakfast.
In the rooms, the room decorations, bedside items as well as information about the resort and menu have all been removed. Instead, guests can find this information on the TV screen in the room.
Recreational facilities at InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach are still available to serve guests.
Recreational facilities including swimming pools, Planet Trekkers kids club, gym, beach and water sports activities are still available for guests to enjoy and relax. These items will be guaranteed to be hygienic and safe in accordance with the criteria set out in the "Clean Promise" campaign.
