Hung Nghia Church is located 30 km from the center of Nam Dinh city and is hundreds of years old. Having weathered many historical ups and downs, the church was restored in 2007, taking on the appearance we see today: majestic and mysterious, becoming a rare religious structure in Northern Vietnam that serves both spiritual purposes and is an attractive tourist destination for those fascinated by Western architecture.
The church's structure features a distinctive Gothic style: pointed domes, two tall main towers on the edges, and transparent stained-glass windows high above that allow natural light into the sanctuary.

Until the 20th century, Gothic architecture remained a popular style in Europe. Perhaps that's why, when visiting Hung Nghia Church, tourists can't help but think of classical castles or Hogwarts School from the famous Harry Potter series.

In contrast to its majestic exterior, the interior of the cathedral boasts a magnificent beauty: meticulously arranged columns, high vaulted ceilings with delicate patterns, and carefully selected paintings. Anyone visiting Hung Nghia Church for the first time will take a moment of quiet contemplation to admire the exquisite architecture, imbued with a strong medieval atmosphere.
