Currently, the Nha Trang sea rescue force has nearly 40 members who are in good health, skilled swimmers, and have been trained and deployed in 6 teams along the entire coastline with bathing beaches. They are constantly on duty during the time tourists and locals go swimming. Each team has about 20 free life jackets for people to wear when they need them while swimming.
In addition, the captain of the Nha Trang coastal rescue team said that in the past, the force has rescued many drowning victims. Therefore, locals and tourists should be aware that when authorities have posted signs prohibiting swimming, they should not be complacent, as this can easily lead to drowning accidents with serious consequences.

Previously, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced that the provincial People's Committee had allowed residents and tourists to return to Nha Trang beach from 0:00 on May 4th, after a period of social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Besides swimming at the beach, activities along the coastal park and on the sea surface throughout the province have also returned to normal, however, Covid-19 prevention and control measures must be ensured according to regulations.
