Since the beginning of September, many tourist attractions across the country have reopened to visitors after more than a month of travel disruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To stimulate domestic tourism, many destinations have offered significant discounts and free entrance tickets.
Specifically, from September 9th to December 31st, the provinceQuang NinhThere will be discounted entrance fees to attractions and accommodation in Ha Long Bay. Especially on certain days such as Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20th), the Traditional Day of Miners and Coal Industry (November 12th), Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20th), and the Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22nd), visitors will receive free entry to accommodation in Ha Long Bay.
Besides Ha Long Bay, the Quang Ninh Museum and the Yen Tu scenic area are also offering discounted entrance fees for tourists.
In addition to waiving or reducing entrance fees to the bay, Quang Ninh province also subsidized 100% of the bus fare from Van Don International Airport - Ha Long to Doc Do (Uong Bi) and vice versa in 2020.
In addition, some attractions are also offering a 50% discount on entrance fees, including Yen Tu scenic area and Quang Ninh Museum.
InLao CaiEntrance fees to tourist attractions and routes have been reduced by more than 50%. The Silver Waterfall in Sa Pa has been reduced from 15,000 VND/ticket to 5,000 VND/ticket. Tourist routes such as Sa Pa - Sin Chai - Sa Pa or Sa Pa - Ta Phin - Sa Pa... have been reduced from 30,000 VND to 15,000 VND. A few tourist routes in the area that have not reduced fees are Tram Ton - Old Forest - Tram Ton and climbing Fansipan mountain.

InHo Chi Minh CityThe City Tourism Department, in collaboration with the City Tourism Association, is organizing a stimulus program called "Ho Chi Minh City is a Safe Destination." The two organizations will work with service providers in the city to issue vouchers offering a 30% discount. Tourist attractions will offer discounts of up to 50%.
