Looking back at the highlights of Amazing Tour 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho

1. Con Son Island

Beginning the Amazing Tour 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho journey, the group visited Con Son Island, a small, peaceful island with a rich ecosystem and lush green gardens characteristic of the Southern Vietnamese countryside. The tranquil green space, along with the warm and hospitable nature of the locals, allowed everyone to relax and immerse themselves in a wonderful sense of peace and serenity.

2. Binh Thuy Ancient House

Visiting the Binh Thuy ancient house, steeped in the culture of the Western region, the tour group admired the more than 150-year-old architectural structure with its unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and French styles. The Binh Thuy ancient house still retains the distinctive ancient beauty of Can Tho with its delicate and meticulous carvings on the columns, archways, and house edges. A noteworthy aspect of the structure is the harmonious blend of Eastern and Western cultures and architecture, while still highlighting the pure Vietnamese spirit.

3. Can Tho Princess

Next, the tour group visited Can Tho Princess – a restaurant cruise ship offering unique sightseeing and culinary experiences on the Can Tho and Hau rivers. Can Tho Princess impresses with its exquisite blend of Southwestern Vietnamese culture and modern tropical architecture. The cruise ship's ambiance, along with its culinary, musical, and sightseeing experiences, provides a range of delightful emotions.

4. Ninh Kieu Night Market

Concluding the first day of Amazing Tour 8, the group visited Ninh Kieu Night Market. Here, a wide variety of goods are sold, but the street food is particularly appealing. Visiting this market is not only about experiencing and enjoying Can Tho's specialties, but also about meeting, getting to know, and understanding more about the people of Tay Do (Can Tho). Each scene in the market has its own unique charm, creating a vibrant picture of Can Tho's culture and people.

5. Tan Loc Island

Upon arriving at Tan Loc Island, the tour group felt immersed in the "sweet island" of the Western region. The sweetness came not only from fruits like guava, pear, coconut, and pineapple in the orchards, but also from the warm hospitality of the people of the Mekong Delta. Under the cool shade of coconut trees, the visitors had many enjoyable experiences, making them love even more the simple, pristine beauty of the Mekong Delta.

6. Cai Rang Floating Market

Early on the third morning of Amazing Tour 8, the tour group arrived at Cai Rang floating market, a highlight of the capital of the Mekong Delta. The unique cultural life and trade of the people of Tay Do (Can Tho) were clearly evident on the boats and canoes cruising along the river. Immersed in the fresh, cool air, listening to the waves lapping against the boat, admiring the boats overflowing with produce, and drifting along the water, one might find themselves lost in the stories of the genuine, charming people...

7. Noodle-making village

The final stop on the "Returning to the Land of White Rice and Clear Water" journey was the long-standing traditional noodle factory of Mr. Sau Hoai. With a three-generation tradition, Mr. Sau Hoai's family noodle factory is one of the places producing and supplying special noodles in Can Tho. The tour group learned about the history of the traditional craft village, along with interesting stories surrounding it, and especially had the opportunity to directly participate in some stages of making noodles.
