1. Zoji La, India

This 9km-long road, located at an altitude of 3528m above sea level, connects the Ladakh and Kashmir valleys in India. Every day, people still use it for transportation and livestock farming despite its narrow width and extreme danger. Most dangerously, the road has no guardrails whatsoever.
2.Transfăgărășan, Romania

The Transfăgărășan is located in the Carpathian Mountains and runs through the Făgăraș massif. At 2034 meters long, it is one of the most famous roads not only in Romania, but also in Europe and the world, due to its incredibly majestic and beautiful scenery as well as its dangerous nature. The Transfăgărășan is also known by other names such as "The Road to Heaven" or "The Best Driving Road in the World".
3. Dalton Highway, Alaska, USA

The Dalton Highway was built in 1974 to support the Trans-Alaska pipeline system. Despite its length of 666 km, the Dalton only connects three small villages, making it considered the snowiest and most isolated highway in the world. What makes this road so daunting is that for 400 km there are no gas stations, restaurants, or hotels.
4. Khardung La, India

Khardung La is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys in India. Built in 1976 and opened in 1988, it has been the site of numerous mountain climbing expeditions. Khardung La is recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's highest mountain pass, reaching an altitude of 5602 meters.
5. Atlantic Road, Norway

The Atlantic Road, considered "Norway's Project of the Century," is an 8.3 km long road connecting small coastal villages. Although the road is quite winding and dangerous, it still attracts many tourists because of its breathtaking scenery.
6. Guoliang Tunnel, China

The Guoliang Tunnel was built by local people to connect the villages with the outside world. Later, the government decided to build a new, safer tunnel, 1200 meters long, to make it more convenient for people to travel.
7. Le Passage du Gois, France

The unique Le Passage du Gois is 4.5 km long and only open to traffic for a few hours each day. When the tide rises, the entire road is submerged in seawater at a depth of 1.3m to 4m.
8. Tianmen Mountain Road, China

Tianmen Mountain Road in China is 10 kilometers long but boasts 99 steep inclines. Only drivers with nerves of steel would dare to traverse this road. Despite its immense height, it's considered a transit point between heaven and earth. After traversing the entire road, you'll climb 999 steps to reach the "Gateway to Heaven."
