CNN recently listed famous places that will no longer operate by 2023 and suggested alternative destinations to help tourists plan their travel next year.

Train Street Cafe, Hanoi, Vietnam

Train cafes in Hanoi are especially popular with foreign tourists, who often share check-in photos on social networks. However, this is a controversial destination regarding safety. By mid-September 2022, the local government officially announced the closure of train cafes and revoked licenses for businesses violating railway corridor safety.

Năm 2022, tất cả các cửa hàng tại phố đường tàu đều đã bị thu hồi giấy phép kinh doanh, hàng rào cũng đã được dựng lên để ngăn người ra vào.

In 2022, all shops on the train street had their business licenses revoked, and fences were erected to prevent people from entering and exiting.

This old quarter area has a train track just a few centimeters away from the shops on both sides of the street, creating a lot of excitement for tourists when taking souvenir photos with a cup of coffee while the train runs right next to it. Hanoi had requested the closure of some shops in the area in 2019, but this street is still crowded.

Instead of going by train, CNN suggests that tourists start their tour of Hanoi from the area of the Cathedral. Although there are no trains coming from behind, they are compensated by the noise from many motorbikes.
