Located on the Caribbean coast, Calivigny, spanning 32 hectares, is renowned as one of the world's most luxurious private resort islands. The island is owned by French millionaire Georges Cohen, who purchased it as a gift for his wife, Martine, in 2000 and transformed it into a resort for the ultra-wealthy.

The resort comprises 10 villas scattered around the island, offering perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Among them, the Overhang House villa, which extends out over the sea, can accommodate 18 guests.

The villa's terrace is paved with luxurious marble, next to a sparkling swimming pool and a bar. The villa offers amenities for guests who wish to cook outdoors, including a wood-fired pizza oven and a teppanyaki grill.

The Beach House villa can accommodate up to 20 guests.

The villa is designed in a luxurious style, situated right by the sea, creating a cozy and close-to-nature atmosphere. The interior is mainly furnished with wood materials and surrounded by greenery.

Each villa features both outdoor and indoor hot tubs. The resort also offers outdoor spa services or private massages to cater to guests' relaxation needs.

Furthermore, guests can enjoy other indoor amenities such as working out at the gym, training with a fitness trainer, practicing yoga with an instructor at dawn, walking and cycling around the island, playing tennis, and more.

The kitchen uses fresh seafood caught daily, organic farm produce from the island, or the finest ingredients from Grenada and around the world. Guests can also experience cooking classes to discover more about the culinary techniques of Japanese, French, or Italian cuisine.

Calivigny Island is a five-minute boat ride from Grenada. Upon landing at the nearby Maurice Bishop International Airport, guests will be greeted by a private hotel staff. Before the pandemic, there were direct flights to Grenada from many major cities in the UK, Germany, the US, and Canada. The airport also has ample parking for private planes of all sizes.

Famous stars have also chosen this island for rest and relaxation. Justin Bieber rented the island in 2015 to throw his 21st birthday party, and the Kardashians also stayed here in 2014.
