France welcomes vaccinated international tourists

In addition to France, many other European countries will also relax regulations and welcome international visitors back in the summer of 2021, such as Greece, Spain, Ireland, Croatia, Iceland...

The introduction of some of these relaxed rules will help France boost tourism again. However, visitors from countries battling further waves of Covid-19 with the emergence of new variants will have to comply with strict conditions.

Specifically, travelers from countries on the "red" list including India, South Africa, and Brazil must have a negative Covid-19 test result within 48 hours before the flight, and must quarantine for 7 days for those who have been vaccinated and 10 days for those who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19.

Travelers from Europe and seven "green" countries including Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand and Singapore do not need to be tested if they have been vaccinated.

Outside of Europe, most countries (including Vietnam) are classified by the French Government as "orange" in the new travel guidebook launched on June 4. Vaccinated travelers from these "orange" countries do not have to quarantine and do not need a reason before arriving in France. However, they need a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours before entering the country. Unvaccinated travelers need to self-isolate for 7 days after arriving in France.
