Introducing some of these relaxed regulations helps France boost its tourism industry. However, tourists from countries grappling with subsequent waves of Covid-19 with the emergence of new variants will have to comply with stricter conditions.
Specifically, travelers from countries on the "red" list, including India, South Africa, and Brazil, must have a negative Covid-19 test result within 48 hours before their flight, and must quarantine for 7 days if vaccinated and 10 days if unvaccinated.
European travelers and those from the seven "green" countries (Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand, and Singapore) do not need to be tested if they have been vaccinated.

Outside of Europe, most countries (including Vietnam) are listed as "orange" countries in the French government's newly released travel guide on June 4th. Vaccinated travelers from these "orange" countries do not need to quarantine and do not require a reason before entering France. However, they must have a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of entry. Unvaccinated individuals must self-isolate for 7 days upon arrival in France.

According to CNN, indoor dining in France will reopen on June 9th, and the curfew will be extended to 11 pm. The Eiffel Tower will reopen to visitors on July 16th.
Besides France, many other European countries also eased restrictions and welcomed international tourists back in the summer of 2021, including Greece, Spain, Ireland, Croatia, Iceland, and others.
