Recently, in Dong Ha City (Quang Tri Province), Vo Linh and Hong Quan, along with Mr. Nguyen Tan Hieu - Deputy Director of the Northern Huong Hoa Nature Reserve, successfully completed an exploration trip to a cave named Van Tien Cave by the local ethnic minority people.
The entrance to Van Tien Cave is located in a rocky mountain range in Cat Tria village (Huong Son commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province). After traveling by motorbike, the exploration team walked for another 30 minutes to reach Van Tien Cave.
This masterpiece is skillfully arranged by Mother Nature, possessing unique beauty and exquisite artistry.
Locals named this cave Van Tien, a name that evokes images of a celestial paradise. This masterpiece, skillfully arranged by Mother Nature, boasts unique beauty and exquisite artistry. Upon entering the cave, visitors can admire magnificent stalactite formations, with their bizarre shapes and vibrant colors. Some stalactites stretch like a gentle river of sand, while others resemble a dazzling golden waterfall cascading down, their shimmering light captivating the heart. The intricate and winding stalactite structures within the cave create a mesmerizing natural spectacle, leaving everyone amazed by the artistry of nature.
From the cave entrance, 100 meters down is the cave floor, where an underground river flows. Many sections of the river form large pools, about 10 meters wide, with cool, clear water. Many types of fish, such as eels and catfish, thrive in this river within the cave.
The cave has many winding and intricate passages. Currently, only about 1km of Van Tien Cave has been explored. According to local people, the cave is still very deep with many large and beautiful stalactite formations, no less impressive than famous caves in other localities. Within the natural resources of the North Huong Hoa Nature Reserve, covering an area of over 25,000 hectares, there are still many caves that need to be explored and publicized.
