On the afternoon of July 5th, 2024, a press conference announcing the Quang Nam International Kite Festival 2024 was held at Hoiana Resort & Golf. This event was organized by the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in collaboration with Nam Hoi An Development Co., Ltd. (Hoiana Resort & Golf).
As part of the 2024 tourism stimulus activities "Quang Nam - Green Land of Heritage", the festival will take place from July 25th to July 28th, 2024 at the beach near Hoiana resort (Tay Son Tay village, Duy Hai commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province).

This is an international kite art event held in Quang Nam, aiming to promote and preserve the art of kite making and flying. At the same time, the International Kite Festival also aims to establish an annual international cultural, artistic, and tourism event in Quang Nam, attracting domestic and international tourists to Quang Nam in particular and tourist destinations in Central Vietnam in general.
This year, the festival will feature kite teams from more than 12 countries and territories such as China, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, India, Cambodia, etc. The teams will present spectacular artistic kite flying performances with approximately 100 different types of kites, along with a colorful kite exhibition space. A highlight of the Quang Nam International Kite Festival 2024 is the dazzling LED kite flying program under the starry night sky on the evenings of July 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2024. Especially, the evening of July 27th will be a grand music festival welcoming the appearance of famous young singers.
In addition to artistic kite displays, the festival offers many other attractive activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in kite-making classes under the enthusiastic guidance of artisans, explore diverse and rich cuisine, enjoy magic shows, spectacular fire dance performances, and countless other impressive entertainment activities. All of this promises to create a vibrant and joyful festival atmosphere.
