Ladakh – the "Little Tibet" of India, a sacred land in the Himalayas – is renowned for its wild beauty, majestic nature, and unspoiled indigenous culture. With its vast desert landscapes and undulating snow-capped mountains, it's not for those seeking tranquility. Instead, Ladakh is considered a sanctuary for free spirits and explorers.

A month after Vietnam reopened to tourism, and coinciding with the April 30th - May 1st holiday, many Vietnamese tourists have planned to visit or return to this "land of monasteries".
Currently, India allows tourists to apply for a visa online at a cost of $70 per person, valid for 60 days with two entries. Visas can be applied for as early as three months and as late as two weeks before departure.
From Vietnam, you can fly directly to New Delhi with Vietjet Air or fly via Bangkok, Singapore, or Kuala Lumpur before flying to New Delhi. From New Delhi to Leh, you can travel by car or motorbike, but the most convenient option is by plane. Round-trip airfare from Vietnam to Leh/Ladakh ranges from approximately 9-17 million VND (booking early generally results in lower prices).

One of the Vietnamese tourists who "fell in love" with Ladakh is Max Vu. He has visited and left this land countless times, traveling nearly 1,200 km on Himalayan roads, crossing the world's highest mountain passes, admiring the most beautiful lakes in the Himalayas and Asia, and visiting the sacred ancient temples and monasteries of the Tibetan people in Ladakh…
“Many people may encounter obstacles such as headaches and fatigue due to altitude sickness symptoms when visiting Ladakh. But it is precisely this characteristic that makes Ladakh special compared to other journeys in the Himalayas, and is an indispensable ingredient for exploring Ladakh,” shared Max Vu.

Currently, Max Vu is in charge of travel services at FIT Tour - a company specializing in unique and experiential tours. As global travel begins to pick up again, FIT Tour recently launched a new product: a "luxury Nepal" tour at the end of April, including an 8-day itinerary with luxurious experiences such as helicopter rides and stays in 4-star resorts with panoramic views of the legendary mountain ranges.
Discover "3 years in Ladakh" through this short film by Max Vu; perhaps it will inspire you for your next trip.
