We arrived in Cebu after an hour's flight from Manila. I don't know much about the principles of landing in the aviation industry, but I thought Cebu Pacific Air's landing on Mactan Island was special. The plane flew across Cebu City in the afternoon sun, making a circular arc out to sea. At some points on the turns, the plane banked its right wing up to 45 degrees.

Cebu is famous for its coral islands, ideal for diving.
Cebu is the oldest city and possesses unique landscapes and cultures. It is the oldest city with many structures and relics associated with the history of the formation and development of the land known as the "Queen of the South" of the Philippine island nation. Cebu is the common name of the city, the urban area, the island and the whole province. Cebu Island is narrow, stretching more than 200km from north to south, surrounded by 167 small islands, of which Mactan is the island attached to Cebu Island and was chosen to locate Cebu International Airport.

The first impression of Cebu was something very wild and interesting. We were on our way to visit a guitar-making village, the first destination in our 3-day trip to Cebu. This place was very interesting. In addition to learning about the stages of making a guitar, we also bought souvenirs of guitars, from the size of two fingers to a professional guitar. There were also many colorful souvenirs, made from leftover wood during the guitar-making process.

I met a very pretty girl here, the daughter of the owner of the piano factory, who was of mixed Filipino and Indian blood. Next was a very handsome Western tourist in the musical instrument showroom. He played some music that made us linger to enjoy, even though it was time to leave.

As dusk fell, we continued our visit to the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, which featured a 20-meter-tall bronze statue that commemorated the victory of the Cebuanos against the Spanish invasion in 1521. Around the shrine, there were many stalls selling unique souvenirs. I bought almost all the gifts for my friends here.

Cebu dawned bright and clear. From my high-rise hotel balcony, I could see the sun rising somewhere off the eastern coast. Oddly shaped clouds were beginning to glow in the blue sky, and the first flight of the day was about to land on Mactan Island. Sunlight was beginning to filter into the still-darkness of the city.

I left the high-rise building and wandered through the small, simple streets of Cebu. The streets had long, winding slopes connecting each other, so the sunlight appeared and disappeared, creating fascinating interweaving patches of light and dark. I passed by colorful houses. I met people, both young and old, playing basketball in sunny courtyards and people sleeping soundly on porches, in peaceful spaces. Cebu streets also have structures that record the city's many historical ups and downs. At night, Cebu is vibrant with attractive culinary areas, a rich music culture with many types of performance spaces, and the captivating voices of local singers.

Cebu has skyscrapers and Sky walker is an unforgettable experience for me here. We walked outside the tallest building in Cebu, zip-lined across the roof of 40-story buildings. And most importantly, I got some impressive photos from the top of the city.
Cebu is famous for its white sandy beaches with green coconut trees, coral islands ideal for diving expeditions. We were on our way to Nalusuan Island, the island with the most beautiful coral reefs. It took about 45 minutes by boat from Mactan Island port, we arrived at noon. The water under the bright sunlight became strangely clear blue. I have never seen water so clear and so special in color. Without thinking much, we jumped into the water, mingling with the schools of fish and coral reefs.

Today was also our last day in the Philippines. The last lunch was a BBQ party on a small, beautiful island with endless stretches of white sand. Everyone was very tired and hungry, after more than an hour of diving with colorful fish and coral reefs in the clear blue water. We were excited for the most poetic lunch of the trip, delicious food and the enchanting melodious singing of the lovely local band.

We gathered together to play on the white sands, not forgetting to take souvenir photos of the meaningful trip. I always took the opportunity to hunt for beautiful photos, with the final theme being the extremely attractive girls immersing themselves in the clear blue water and the white sands.
