Under this program, from September 8, people from Germany and Brunei can enter Singapore without quarantine or travel control, provided they have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
However, they must undergo four Covid-19 PCR tests: one before departure within 48 hours, one upon arrival at Changi Airport, one after arrival on the third day and a final test on the seventh day. The last two tests require visitors to undergo screening at a designated medical facility. If visitors do not complete these mandatory tests, they may be fined under the Infectious Diseases Act and be forced to quarantine.

Children under 12 who have not been vaccinated will not be able to participate in the program. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) said that travel routes for fully vaccinated people will be open for all purposes: leisure, business or family visits. CAAS said that the conditions for applying the quarantine exemption are that passengers must have been in Germany or Brunei for 21 consecutive days before entering. They must also arrive by designated direct flights.
In addition, Singapore also eased restrictions on the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, China. People who have been in the two locations for 21 consecutive days can register.Air travel card(Air Travel Pass) to enter Singapore from August 26. Visitors will have to undergo a Covid-19 test upon arrival at the airport. While waiting for the results, they must quarantine and can continue their tourism activities in the lion island if the results are negative.

Singapore is the first of the “zero Covid” countries to shift its approach from strict containment to living with Covid-19. However, analysts say that while reopening will be a relief for people and businesses, the initial steps will be limited, so the process may be slower than expected.
