According to information from the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Groups Cultural and Tourism Village, once the pandemic is under control, many unique cultural and artistic exchange programs and group activities such as folk games and experiential tours will be organized.
Specifically, with the theme "Family cultural traditions in ethnic communities," the "Family Festival" is an event that helps strengthen interaction between ethnic groups, connect communities, and foster bonds among family members and within each ethnic community. Through this, everyone will learn about the beautiful aspects of family culture (husband and wife, siblings, neighborly love, etc.).

As part of this June's event, the "Traditional Games - My Childhood" program will be an opportunity for young visitors to have fun and experience traditional games such as making buffaloes from jackfruit leaves, playing cockfighting, tug-of-war, tu lu, yến fighting, tó má lẹ… and participate in educational activities about the ecological environment and ethnic culture.
Visitors can participate in the "A Day as an Artisan" program to learn about community culture through the traditional costumes of ethnic groups, from the process of selecting yarn, dyeing, weaving to the structure of a complete outfit; or experience life as a farmer, gardening, harvesting vegetables, weeding, caring for plants and learning about the characteristic plants of each region.

The art program celebrating "Vietnamese Family Day" by the ethnic minorities of the Central Highlands at the "Common House" is scheduled to be held on June 26th, with the 2021 theme "Peaceful Family - Happy Society". This is a highlight activity in the series of events in June at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village.
The Ede, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Ta Oi, and Gie Trieng people will perform songs about their homeland, country, the Central Highlands, family, and village. Alongside this, there will be an activity showcasing the beauty of traditional women's clothing and the beauty of traditional weaving in the village.

During this event, the traditional wedding ceremony of the Gie Trieng ethnic group in Kon Tum province will be reenacted. The wedding customs of this ethnic group retain many pristine features, are rich in humanistic values, and reflect the beauty of their ethnic culture. Marriage in the Gie Trieng community is voluntary, with a unique aspect being the engagement gifts: bundles of firewood. Traditional cultural activities such as Xoang dance and gong performances will also be featured in the program.
