A British magazine suggests Vietnam as a travel destination for March.

The suggested list focuses on four categories: Long-term travel, Wildlife exploration, Festival seasons, and Spring flower seasons. Vietnam is among the top six countries most suitable for long-term trips. This is also a fitting suggestion, as Vietnam will fully reopen to international tourists on March 15th.

According to Wanderlust, the spring weather of March is the ideal time to explore the mountainous regions of Northwest Vietnam. Stable temperatures, gradually decreasing humidity, and minimal rainfall create favorable conditions for tourists to visit villages around Sa Pa or Mai Chau.

Located near the Chinese border, Sa Pa is a diverse mountainous region and a popular destination for international tourists. The trails leading to the villages of Giang Ta Chai and Lao Chai wind through terraced rice fields. Visitors to Sa Pa also have the opportunity to interact with the H'Mong and Dao people, who have lived here for over 200 years.

Located about 150 km southwest of Hanoi, Mai Chau Valley is also considered by Wanderlust to be a suitable choice for hiking into the villages. In Mai Chau, visitors can stay in traditional Thai stilt houses or enjoy local dishes and drinks in Pom Coong village.
