This is the sixth brand added to IHG's portfolio in the past four years, bringing the total to 17 brands with nearly 6,000 hotels across 100 countries.
According to IHG representatives, the group will build this brand into the second largest portfolio in the industry with over 400 hotels and 100,000 rooms. Over the next 10 years, IHG believes the Vignette Collection brand can attract more than 100 real estate partners globally, and will be key to the group achieving its ambition of leading the industry in room growth.

Australia and Thailand are the first two countries to feature the Vignette Collection brand. Specifically, Hotel X (Brisbane, Australia), notable for its unique artwork, avant-garde lighting design, and stunning city views, and Pattaya Aquatique, an iconic destination in Pattaya (Thailand).

The participation of independent hotels and smaller Luxury & Lifestyle hotel chains will help IHG continue its exceptional growth in the over $100 billion market, which currently has more than 1.5 million independent rooms worldwide.
