IHG Group launches new hotel brand Vignette Collection

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of Vignette Collection, a new Luxury & Lifestyle brand. The new brand will first appear in hotels in Australia and Thailand.

This is the sixth brand added to IHG's brand portfolio in the past four years, bringing the total to 17 brands with nearly 6,000 hotels across 100 countries.

According to IHG representatives, the group will build this brand into the second largest portfolio in the industry with a scale of more than 400 hotels and 100,000 rooms. In the next 10 years, IHG believes that the Vignette Collection brand can attract more than 100 real estate partners globally to participate, and is the key for the group to achieve its ambition of leading the industry in room growth.

Hotel X, Brisbane, Australia_s

Australia and Thailand are the first two countries to have the presence of the Vignette Collection brand. Specifically, Hotel X (Brisbane, Australia) stands out with unique artworks, Avant Garde lighting design and beautiful panoramic views of the city, and Pattaya Aquatique Hotel, an iconic destination of Pattaya (Thailand).

The entry of independent hotels and small chains in the Luxury & Lifestyle category will help IHG continue to grow rapidly in a market worth more than 100 billion USD and with more than 1.5 million independent rooms worldwide.
