Taste of Australia 2019 will be held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Nha Trang. The program will include community BBQ parties, Twilight Cinema screenings, galas, and performances by Australian singer Deni Hines. The premium NOSH Supperclub dinner will be prepared by five top Australian chefs currently working in Ho Chi Minh City, along with a food and wine tasting program for the public, a culinary demonstration by Adam Liaw – MasterChef Australia 2010, and the 4th annual Taste of Australia cooking competition.

Taste of Australia 2019 will also feature "Australia Today ASEAN 2019," a key public diplomacy program of the Australian Government. This year, "Australia Today" celebrates the vitality, diversity, and capabilities of young people across Southeast Asia, including Vietnam.

Ambassador Craig Chittick stated: “Taste of Australia represents the best that Australia has to offer and brings to all of Vietnam. It is a collaboration between the Australian Government, Australian and Vietnamese manufacturers, distributors, retailers, restaurants and organizations.”
