On the evening of March 15, at the Travel Fest 2019 tourism promotion event held at Aeon Mall Long Bien, travel blogger - tourism lecturer Nguyen Hoang Bao and 9x travel blogger Le Tu shared very detailed and honest information about backpacking as well as useful tips from preparing the itinerary, searching for information and how to find accommodation to have a true backpacking trip.

For both guest travel bloggers, in addition to learning about the culture, history and people at the destination, the core of backpacking is also "experiencing and understanding yourself". Regardless of whether you go for a long or short trip, when traveling on a backpacking trip, the experiencer will be proactive in arranging the itinerary, not tying themselves to a fixed schedule, and especially will be able to travel according to their needs, interests and create the most comfortable feeling for themselves.
Sharing the same concept that every backpacker shares the same desire to discover new people, new lands (such as a land of many cultures like India), and conquer what has not been conquered, however, a "veteran" travel blogger like Nguyen Hoang Bao and a young emerging travel blogger like Le Tu also have certain unique perspectives on travel destinations and ways of experiencing them.
Travel blogger Le Tu, born in the 1990s, once explored Ladakh by motorbike.
As a person who loves to explore culture, Nguyen Hoang Bao often visits ancient architectural works with historical significance as well as learns about customs and practices in different lands. However, for a person who is passionate about adventure tourism like Le Tu, "thorny" destinations like Ladakh are the place for him to "satisfy his taste". In the end, the difference in these travel experiences "does not lie in age difference, it probably lies mainly in each person's taste".
Regarding the preparation of backpacking trips, the two guests emphasized that finding complete information from appropriate and reliable information channels is extremely important. Experiencers should first consider what they like, then find the location, time, carefully read travel reviews and documents on the Internet and finally design their own itinerary. There are many international travel websites to compare prices and intermediary accommodation websites such as couchsurfing (stay with locals), airbnb (stay with family)... to choose from.

In particular, when asked about the places that travel bloggers want to suggest to the audience, Le Tu chose Indonesia - a country with beautiful natural scenery, poetic islands and ideal mountains for a trekking trip. As for Nguyen Hoang Bao, the Philippines is a name that cannot be ignored for those who love the sea; and if you want to experience cuisine and culture, Thailand is a great choice. The most important thing is that wherever you go, backpackers go to the places they like, buy travel insurance and arrange the most reasonable itinerary for themselves.
