This morning, March 15, at the Travel Fest 2019 tourism promotion festival co-organized by Travellive Magazine and Aeon Mall, three guests including travel blogger, tourism lecturer Nguyen Hoang Bao, travel blogger Tung Nem and PhD, tourism lecturer Nguyen Thu Thuy shared very frankly and intimately in the talk show "If you want to go far, go together". Among them, whether to travel independently or book a tour through a travel agency is the most discussed question.

As a group traveler, Nguyen Hoang Bao understands the benefits of having companions on each trip. He shared: “Group travel will provide the necessary support to complete the goals of a certain trip.”
Similarly, for a visual production team like Tung Nem’s, “each member of the team will play a specific role” such as taking photos, editing, filming. At the same time, outside of work, members also spend time having fun and exploring together.
When referring to buying tours from travel agencies, Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy shared that travelers will have the opportunity to "immerse themselves in the entire journey" because during the entire trip, especially when traveling abroad, if any unexpected problems arise, such as public transportation or food and restaurant reservations, the tour company will support the passengers.
More and more young people choose to travel in groups and on their own.
In addition, booking tours from companies when traveling in a large group will bring many economic benefits because usually when traveling in a large number, the price will be much better than traveling alone. In particular, Mr. Hoang Bao emphasized that, for trips with colleagues (also known as incentive tours), buying tours from travel agencies will help the trip become more organized and smoother.
However, it is undeniable that independent group travel has its advantages. One of the most notable strengths is that travelers can actively move and decide their own itinerary. In other words, instead of having to follow a pre-planned schedule, travelers can arrange and change it if they want.
Moreover, in the 4.0 era when convenient applications and reliable travel information sources are increasingly appearing, finding information and ways to travel becomes much easier. Especially, if in the group there is a leader (also known as a leader) - the person who will organize and arrange the whole itinerary, buying tours through travel agencies is completely unnecessary.
Buying tours from travel agencies is a very worthwhile choice, especially when traveling abroad.
Because of the different advantages that independent group travel and buying tours from travel companies bring, the decision of which form to follow will depend largely on the needs, financial capacity of the traveler as well as the size of the group. For example, if traveling in a group of more than 15 - 20 passengers, booking a tour from a company will both help save time and make the trip more comfortable and organized. However, with a group of 2 - 3 members, independent travel will help the traveler to actively move according to the chosen itinerary as well as arrange a trip that is more suitable for their budget.
