After the initial 15-day trial period, tickets for this railway line will officially go on sale. The fare for the Cat Linh - Ha Dong metro line is calculated based on the distance traveled, with a maximum of 15,000 VND per trip for the entire line and a minimum of 8,000 VND per trip for the shortest distance. With a daily pass of 30,000 VND per person, passengers can travel on the urban railway without any limit on the number of trips per day.
Monthly train passes are priced at 200,000 VND for regular passengers; 100,000 VND for students, and workers in industrial zones. Workers in offices, businesses, and enterprises outside industrial zones who purchase monthly passes collectively are charged 140,000 VND per person per month. War veterans, senior citizens, people with disabilities, children under 6 years old, and members of impoverished households are exempt from train fares.

The Hanoi Department of Transport continues to implement inspection measures and coordinate with other public passenger transport services to create the safest and most convenient conditions for people using Hanoi's first urban railway line. The review, preparation of personnel, ensuring operational conditions, and contingency plans for potential issues during operation are being rapidly implemented.
From now until the handover date, the Ministry of Transport has requested the EPC general contractor to operate trains continuously at a frequency similar to that of commercial operation. This is to ensure that the project is ready for commercial operation immediately after handover to Hanoi.
