Northern provinces
According to the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, many tourist areas in the province welcomed a total of nearly 900,000 visitors. Of these, Thanh Hoa served 577,400 overnight visitors, an increase of 85.6% compared to the same period last year. According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the capital's tourism industry welcomed 550,000 visitors, nearly 20 times more than the same period in 2020. Central region
Quang Nam province reported an estimated 120,000 visitors. Of these, domestic tourists accounted for approximately 112,000 (a 125% increase) and around 8,000 were international visitors. Furthermore, occupancy rates were quite high, reaching 75%. Notably, during the first two days of the holiday period, the occupancy rate for 3-5 star hotels reached 100%.

On the other hand, many tourist destinations in Quang Ngai attracted more than 60,000 visitors. Specifically, My Khe tourist area had over 30,000 visitors, Suoi Chi tourist area had 1,200 visitors, and Minh Tan beach had 6,000 visitors. In Ly Son district, due to bad weather, many tourists canceled their tickets on April 30th and May 1st. The number of tourists from other provinces reached 2,000, a slight decrease compared to the same period last year.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Da Nang City Department of Tourism, the number of visitors during this year's holiday period increased three to four times compared to the same period last year. The city welcomed over 254,000 visitors, including 246,000 domestic tourists and approximately 7,400 international tourists.

Meanwhile, the number of international visitors to the city reached approximately 13,200, and the number of domestic tourists was estimated at around 186,800. Furthermore, the number of guests staying at accommodation establishments was estimated at around 95,000, with an occupancy rate of approximately 65%-70%.
