The Body Shop: Bringing British summer to Vietnam in two summery fragrances.

The long-standing British beauty brand, The Body Shop, always keeps beauty enthusiasts eagerly anticipating its limited-edition fragrances, released only during certain seasons of the year. Beauty lovers are already familiar with its high-quality body care products from head to toe, featuring vegan formulas, over 90% natural ingredients, and a diverse range of pleasing scents.

This summer, The Body Shop brings a refreshing breeze to the sweltering heat with two debut fragrances – the delicately juicy Luscious Lychee and the freshly vibrant Zesty Lime Blossom. The limited edition includes familiar body care products from the brand, but with upgraded textures to better suit the needs of summer skin.

In a shop space on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in Ho Chi Minh City, a European-style fruit market has opened, featuring cheerful and modern pastel pink and blue tones, along with eye-catching decorations of berries and lime blossoms.

A brand representative shared: "This store will allow customers to experience the new body care line from the visuals, fragrances, and new products. Of course, many special activities and gifts will liven up this summer."

With its main ingredient being lemon blossom essential oil, the Zesty Lime Blossom line evokes the refreshing green of a summer garden, along with cool breezes. Its water-gel texture, combined with aloe vera sourced from Mexico's Community Trade program and used in the body wash and moisturizing yogurt, ensures sufficient hydration while maintaining a light, airy feel without leaving a sticky residue on the body.

Meanwhile, with its familiar juicy red lychee extract, Luscious Lychee offers refreshing and delicious lychee tea. Still containing shea butter from the Community Trade program in Ghana, Africa, the bath creams and body butters ensure skin nourishment for up to 72 hours. However, beauty enthusiasts don't need to worry about the 'heaviness' of these rich products in the hot and humid summer weather, as the soft, fluffy cream texture melts instantly and absorbs quickly into the entire body.

The flagship store is located at 87 Mac Thi Buoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City from now until August 24, 2023. The summer edition is currently available at 38 stores nationwide and online at thebodyshop.com.vn

The Body Shop's Community Fair Trade program, independently launched in 1987, aims to bring fairness to the brand's commercial activities. Through this program, The Body Shop helps global suppliers access fairer trade prices, while simultaneously bringing positive changes to the community and environment in those markets. This Community Fair Trade program not only provides more reasonable independent income for over 600 Ghanaian women, but also empowers them by enhancing their self-confidence and respect within their communities.
