Ninh Van Bay (Khanh Hoa) is famous for its picturesque scenery. Because it remains a pristine area, it retains its peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Waking up to the sounds of the forest, the chirping of birds, and the gentle sunlight pouring over miles of green trees is truly a gift, a scene that awaits visitors every morning.
For this reason, Ninh Van Bay has become an ideal destination for relaxing getaways, far from the smog and noise of the city. With a limited number of luxury resorts in the bay, visitors don't have many choices, but each place offers its own unique style and beauty when visiting Ninh Van.
The beauty of Ninh Van Bay as seen from the resort.
For example, L'Alya Ninh Van Bay, despite having been located on the bay for nearly 10 years and undergoing many changes, still offers relaxation, peace, and a feeling of being at home to every guest, with its unique and interesting features.
Take a speedboat from the reception desk to the resort.
Because it's situated on a peninsula, the quickest and only way to reach the resort is by canoe or boat. However, the resort's reception area is located on the mainland side of the city. This allows guests to relax and enjoy a welcome drink after a long flight and a journey of over 30 km from Cam Ranh Airport.
A walkway leads to the canoe that takes guests to their accommodation.
During the "ocean crossing," visitors will enjoy the refreshing breezes of Ninh Van Bay. On clear days, the bay's scenery unfolds like a painting, with mountain ranges in shades of deep blue, appearing hazy in the distance. After a 15-minute journey, L'Alya Ninh Van Bay emerges, nestled perfectly within that green landscape.
The resort does not have room locks.
L'Alya Ninh Van Bay has a total of 33 villa-style rooms, along with a restaurant, swimming pool, spa, fitness area, etc. The villas are built primarily from wood and raw granite, which are also natural materials readily available on the island.
The Hill Rock Villa room category is built like a treehouse.
The Hill Rock villas are unique in that they separate each living area: the bathroom is on the ground floor, the bedroom is on the upper floor, the living room is on the side, and the swimming pool is in a separate area. Wooden stairs connect these areas. This can be inconvenient, as the living space is very large, and the bar and bedrooms are quite far apart, requiring guests to move around frequently for all their needs.
Because the terrain was not altered, each villa has a unique layout and arrangement of areas; no two villas are alike.
The living areas in the house are arranged separately from each other.

To match its natural character, all villas in the resort are lockless, neither with electronic nor traditional locks. Despite this, there has never been a theft because each villa is equipped with a safe for guests to store their important belongings.
However, visitors may still be "visited" by birds and squirrels if they leave food in outdoor areas. Additionally, doors should be locked securely at night to prevent unwanted intruders.
The resort has mangrove swamps.
Besides Hill Rock villa, L'Alya Ninh Van Bay also offers another standard room category with sea views, but the villa is separated from the sea by a mangrove swamp.
The villa area is separated by a mangrove swamp.
This mangrove swamp area is completely natural and was preserved during the resort's construction. The swamp stretches from the guest accommodation area to the common areas. Guests can enjoy lunch in this area, in a shady, fresh, and tranquil setting.

This isn't the only thing that's been preserved in its original state. The pathways within the resort are also completely natural, with finely crushed sand and rough granite rocks that haven't been artificially constructed.
Due to the diverse ecosystem and unique farming practices, insect bites are unavoidable. Visitors should bring mosquito repellent. Additionally, the resort villas provide mosquito coils for nighttime use.
Trekking right within the resort
With its ideal location for exploring nature, trekking deep into the forest where the resort is situated is one of the activities available to visitors when they come here.
Along a 3km route, resort guides will lead visitors through the forest of Hon Heo Mountain, stopping at three viewpoints offering the most beautiful panoramic views of the bay. During this journey, visitors will learn about the island's ecosystem, including its plant life and wildlife. Notably, the island is home to over 300 rare white-faced langurs, and visitors may be lucky enough to spot one.

The path involves many uphill and downhill sections, leading visitors to a waterfall called Hon Heo Waterfall. This waterfall is the source of water for the resort. Water from the waterfall flows through filtration stations and supplies water to the swimming pools in each villa. This is also why the swimming pools at the resort are chlorine-free.
The most valuable part of the trip was the highest viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Ninh Van Bay.
In addition to the unique features mentioned above, the resort also has all the necessary amenities of a high-end resort. Guests can enjoy breakfast in their rooms or at the resort's restaurant. There is only one restaurant, serving a variety of cuisines. However, the breakfast buffet is somewhat limited in selection. On the other hand, all dishes are prepared using healthy methods.

Because it's an older resort, the infrastructure here is somewhat more outdated compared to the newer resorts on Ninh Van Bay. Conversely, the service here is highly rated by tourists due to its long-standing experience.
Activities at the resort are quite diverse: yoga, kayaking, sunset cruises, trekking, and cooking classes with the resort's expert and head chef.
