Joining Chef Egidio Latorraca of Hôtel Des Arts Saigon, Chef Michael will introduce you to the wonderful experiences of Western cuisine.

Chef Michael Dyllong achieved success relatively early in his culinary career. He won the runner-up title in the 2011 World's Young Chefs Competition at the young age of 25-26. Shortly after, Michael shone again in the 2014 Young Talents competition organized by Gault et Millau. Gault et Millau is a French organization specializing in evaluating prestigious restaurants, founded by two renowned food critics, Henri Gault and Christian Millau, in 1965. The rating scale runs from 1 to 20 points, with 20 being the highest score. Only restaurants with scores above 10 are honored to be included in Gault et Millau's list of exemplary restaurants. The evaluation criteria are based on food quality, service, price, and the atmosphere the restaurant provides to its customers.

In 2015, Michael Dyllong's Palmgarden restaurant (located in Dortmund, Germany, Michael's hometown) was awarded one Michelin star and 15 points by Gault Millau. All these achievements made Michael Dyllong one of the youngest talents in the world to have a restaurant awarded Michelin status.

On his first visit to Vietnam, the talented young chef Michael will share the story of the flavors of his native Germany through unique menus at the Social Club restaurant on the 23rd floor. You will have the opportunity to experience an exciting culinary journey including a cooking class with Chef Michael and exquisite meals prepared by the chef himself.
