
Attending this festival, there were chefs from the World Chefs Association from 12 countries: Portugal, Russia, Taiwan, the United States, Greece, India, Sweden, Slovenia, Germany, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. Among them was Swedish chef Gert Klotzke, one of the main chefs who ran the service team at the Nobel Prize ceremonies. Chef Publis Silva is considered the most representative face who contributed to introducing Sri Lankan cuisine to the world. He was a former personal chef to the king, high-ranking officials and is the Guinness record holder for making the world's largest and longest Kiribath dish. In addition, Mr. Publis Silva also launched a unique recipe book called "Royal Meals of the Last Kings of the Sri Lanka".
Also on this occasion, Mr. Thomas A. Gugler - President of the World Chefs Association - who will act as the "conductor" for the festival will award a certificate to Hoi An as one of the culinary capitals of Vietnam on the opening night, taking place on March 22.
The festival will last for 5 days, starting at 17:30 and ending at 22:00 each day. In addition to the culinary arts program, visitors will also have the opportunity to interact with chefs and enjoy many attractive dishes from around the world.
