
This year's festival features chefs from the World Chefs Association from 12 countries: Portugal, Russia, Taiwan, the United States, Greece, India, Sweden, Slovenia, Germany, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia. Among them is Swedish chef Gert Klotzke, one of the head chefs who manages the catering team at Nobel Prize ceremonies. Chef Publis Silva is considered the most prominent figure in introducing Sri Lankan cuisine to the world. He was formerly a private chef serving the king and high-ranking officials, and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest and longest Kiribath dish. Furthermore, Publis Silva has published a unique cookbook titled "Royal Meals of the Last Kings of Sri Lanka."
Also on this occasion, Mr. Thomas A. Gugler - President of the World Chefs Association - who will serve as the "conductor" of the grand festival, will present a certificate to Hoi An as one of Vietnam's culinary capitals on the opening night, which takes place on March 22nd.
The festival will last for 5 days, starting at 5:30 PM and ending at 10:00 PM each day. In addition to the culinary arts program, visitors will also have the opportunity to interact with chefs and enjoy many delicious dishes from around the world.
