In the coming period, traffic will be blocked from Le Duan Street (the section from Pasteur to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia) to facilitate construction and the organization of the 2022 New Year's Eve celebration. People will be directed to use alternative routes starting from December 25, 2021, until January 1, 2022.

The organizing units are responsible for ensuring COVID-19 prevention and control measures are implemented according to the actual situation, adhering to the 5K rules, implementing zoning, traffic flow management, and controlling the number of participants in the event, etc.
However, if the pandemic situation in the city escalates to level 3 or 4, events will have to be scaled down, or even canceled. At the same time, the City People's Committee will require departments, agencies, organizations, and Thu Duc City and districts planning events to adjust their COVID-19 prevention and control plans according to each level of the pandemic.
