Test drive experience program on La Son - Tuy Loan route organized by Land Rover.
To take the La Son – Tuy Loan highway, visitors can go from the Hue – Da Nang bypass or depart from the center of Hue city. If you choose this route, you will have to travel an additional 20 km to reach Da Nang city compared to National Highway 1A; meanwhile, if you go to Hoi An ancient town, the distance will be shortened by 10 km.
Currently, the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway has not yet deployed toll collection points. If choosing La Son - Tuy Loan to travel from Hue to Da Nang or vice versa, tourists will save about 110,000 VND/trip because they do not have to stop to collect tolls when passing through the Hai Van tunnel.
The convoy moved through Mui Trau tunnel. The tunnel is quite modern with two lanes, allowing a speed of 40 - 70 km/h.
If you are an explorer, this is exactly the route you should experience when coming to the Central region. Throughout the 66 km long La Son - Hoa Lien journey (due to only being exploited in phase 1), you will be able to enjoy the poetic scenery of mountains, rivers, clouds and sky. Along the route, many natural stone streams gently flow along the hills, or babble under small bridges, creating a breathtakingly beautiful lyrical landscape.
The highlight of this journey is the road through Bach Ma National Park. Bach Ma National Park embraces the road, bringing a cool feeling, dispelling the heat and fatigue in the middle of the scorching days in the Central region. The biodiversity forest with beautiful scenery will definitely leave you with unforgettable emotions when passing through.
The green color of the vast mountains and forests embraces the La Son - Tuy Loan highway.
Impressive scenery from the flycam with a wide angle covering the green space of trees, mixed with rivers and streams flowing softly. Unfortunately, this route has no stops so you can only enjoy the scenery while driving, you cannot stop to explore the surroundings.
Range Rover is a line of vehicles that can conquer all terrains, suitable for road trips.
Currently, the highway has no street lights or dividers, so visitors should only travel during the day, when the weather is sunny. You may need to consider choosing this route during the rainy season because there are still some places that are at risk of landslides. In addition, you need to fill up with gas before conquering the road because there are no gas stations along the way as well as no rest stops.
The adaptive air suspension on the Range Rover Sport can raise the chassis by up to 130 mm, and can adjust the braking damping to suit specific road conditions. This helps to increase traction or overcome large obstacles on the road.
You need to be careful with the many hairpin bends that obscure your vision. Even though there are few vehicles on the highway, you should not be complacent because there are still some bumpy sections of the road depending on the terrain. With the Range Rover Sport, every journey is smooth, the car "handles neatly" the difficulties of conquering the terrain. Therefore, even when going through bumpy sections, you do not need to worry because the vibration is significantly reduced.
All Terrain Progress Control (ATPC) will help you off-road more easily and safely.
Currently, we have only experienced the road according to the standard of level 3 road with 2 lanes, 12 m wide road surface and design speed of 60 - 80 km/h. Motorcycles are not allowed to circulate.
When traveling on this route, you need to pay special attention to not speed. You should also be careful when driving because there are currently many sections of the road that have no signal when passing through, making it impossible to contact for rescue. Of the total 8 stations receiving signals from Viettel network that are expected to be installed on this highway, only 3 stations have been put into use, the remaining 5 stations are still waiting for procedures.
Let's take a look back at the Off-road journey through La Son - Tuy Loan highway with the new generation Range Rover.
