Experience the US-North Korea summit menu at the Metropole Hanoi Hotel

You may not get a red carpet welcome at many hotels, but that doesn't mean you can't experience the state of a state at one of Vietnam's top luxury hotels - Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.

Following the Summit held at the end of February between US President Donald Trump and North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un at the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi, the hotel officially introduced three VIP menus for dinner and lunch at the hotel's restaurants.

Dishes on the “President Trump and Chairman Kim Dinner” menu include shrimp cocktail (President Trump’s favorite dish) and pan-fried beef tenderloin, pickled cabbage and poached pear, pepper sauce (prepared by a North Korean chef together with the Metropole Hotel chef).

The menu for the two leaders' lunch was prepared but did not take place due to a last-minute change in the schedule. The lunch menu included foie gras, grilled cod with lemon butter sauce and banana cream pie.

The Trump & Kim menu is served in all hotel restaurants.

You will enjoy the lunch and dinner menu priced at 2,500,000 VND or 3,600,000 VND with wine. The degustation menu is priced at 3,300,000 VND or 4,900,000 VND (with wine).

In addition, diners can also experience 3 special dishes during the visit of President Trump and Chairman Kim at the French restaurant Le Beaulieu with foie gras priced at 720,000 VND, or at Le Club Bar with shrimp cocktail priced at 690,000 VND and Angelina with Chocolate Freedom dessert priced at 590,000 VND.
