Experience the US-North Korea summit menu at the Metropole Hotel Hanoi.

You may not receive a red carpet welcome at many hotels, but that doesn't mean you can't have an experience fit for a head of state at one of Vietnam's premier luxury hotels – the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.

Following the summit held at the end of February between US President Donald Trump and North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un at the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi, the hotel officially introduced three VIP menus for dinner and lunch at its restaurants.

The dishes on the menu for the "Dinner for President Trump and Chairman Kim" included shrimp cocktail (a favorite of President Trump) and pan-fried beef tenderloin, sauerkraut and poached pears, pepper sauce (prepared by a North Korean chef along with a chef from the Metropole Hotel).

The lunch menu for the two heads of state had been prepared but did not take place due to a last-minute schedule change. The lunch menu included foie gras, grilled cod served with lemon butter sauce, and banana cream cake.

The Trump & Kim menu is served in all of the hotel's restaurants.

Guests can enjoy a lunch and dinner menu priced at VND 2,500,000 or VND 3,600,000 with wine pairing. A tasting menu (degustation) is priced at VND 3,300,000 or VND 4,900,000 (with wine pairing).

Additionally, diners can also experience three special dishes from President Trump and Chairman Kim's visit at the French restaurant Le Beaulieu: foie gras priced at 720,000 VND; at Le Club Bar: shrimp cocktail priced at 690,000 VND; and at Angelina: Chocolate Freedom dessert priced at 590,000 VND.
