This 19.7 km route crosses characteristic bridges and elevated stations, connecting many important destinations such as the high-tech zone, the National University, and the Suoi Tien bus station. As the train travels above ground, passengers can admire the cityscape of Ho Chi Minh City with its high-rise buildings and bustling streets below. "It's amazing to see a different perspective through the train window," shared Quang Huy, a resident of District 9.
Train travel experience: Comfort and safety
From the moment passengers boarded, the LED lighting, electronic maps, comfortable seats, and modern air conditioning system provided a sense of security. Images of passengers standing on the train, taking photos of the city views with their phones, or groups of friends chatting and laughing became beautiful moments on the opening day.

Despite having been in operation for a week, the metro lines are still attracting many visitors.
Ms. Lan Phuong, a tourist from Hue, excitedly shared: "I had heard a lot about this metro line, so I had to come and experience it right away during its first week of operation. Everything is very modern, and the prices are very reasonable."
Metro Line 1 not only provides transportation benefits but also helps alleviate pressure on Ho Chi Minh City's already overloaded public transport system. With fares ranging from 6,000 to 20,000 VND per trip, monthly passes at 300,000 VND, and daily passes from 40,000 to 90,000 VND with unlimited rides, the metro has become an attractive option for both residents and tourists. The fast, convenient journey and the cool, fresh air inside the train carriages help passengers avoid the traffic congestion often seen on city streets.

Furthermore, the metro line is also a symbol of development, representing the aspirations of a modern city. "This is the first time I've felt such modernity and integration in Vietnam's public transportation," said Thu Hang, an office worker in District 1, expressing her feelings.
The future of urban transportation
