The exhibition "Phan Kế An - Hidden Treasures," curated by artist Vũ Đỗ, will showcase a series of artistic legacies of the late artist Phan Kế An - a towering figure in Vietnamese painting, including multi-media paintings, works studied and researched at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts (formerly the Soviet Union), and sketches of artists, writers, and famous figures from the latter half of the 20th century.
Among them are three lacquer paintings, one oil painting, one silk painting, and a series of distinctive sketches by the artist. All have been carefully preserved by the family over the years to this day. These paintings, considered a "hidden treasure," will reveal many surprising things about the artist's creative journey and artistic life during the years 1945-1960.

Sharing his thoughts on this art event, artist Vu Do, the exhibition curator, said: "The special thing about this exhibition is that the works displayed here have never been published before, hidden in documents found in the artists' homes, and are unfinished, incomplete works, but that doesn't diminish their value. They are witnesses to history, containing the artists' own stories and memories."
At the exhibition "Phan Ke An - Hidden Treasures," the public not only gets to admire the works of artist Phan Ke An, rich in artistic and historical value, but also participates in art tours and art seminars to gain access to a new perspective on preserving and inheriting artistic heritage.
