Hue organizes many cultural and artistic activities at night to promote tourism.

Accordingly, the activities organized include: Calligraphy demonstrations, folk games, Hue chamber music performances, traditional Ao Dai fashion shows, clay figurine making, street music, bamboo flute performances, folk dances, dance sport, lion dance, hip hop... Operating hours are from 6 PM to 10 PM every day of the week, starting from the second quarter (April 2022).

These activities will take place at tourist destinations designated by the Hue City People's Committee, such as: Pham Ngu Lao - Chu Van An - Vo Thi Sau pedestrian streets, 3/2 Park, Tu Tung Park; Nguyen Dinh Chieu pedestrian street, Hue National High School Monument Square; Dong Ba night market, Imperial Citadel night street; pedestrian area on the north bank of the Perfume River…

The implementation of these activities aims to create and develop more cultural and artistic spaces at night to attract tourists and locals, contributing to promoting the image, culture, and people of Hue. At the same time, it diversifies tourism products, creating areas for entertainment, cultural and artistic exchange, culinary exploration, and community activities at night in Hue city.

According to Mr. Vo Le Nhat, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City, programs featuring heritage and folk culture, as well as fixed activities on both banks of the Perfume River, are also part of the Hue Imperial Citadel Night Street project, which was unanimously approved at the end of 2021.
