In February 2022, after a year of opening to visitors at the Germania Club Building in Old Town (Chicago, USA), the famous "Van Gogh" art experience exhibition will be replaced by a completely new exhibition, this time a "world" dedicated to the multi-talented Mexican painter - Frida Kahlo.

Similar to the experience of being immersed in the paintings of Van Gogh andMonetHaving created waves earlier this year, the exhibition "Frida: Immersive Dream" will also be carefully invested in terms of lighting, sound and accompanying images, with the aim of helping the audience to step deeper into the life and career of Frida Kahlo.

The Mexican artist's famous works will be projected through the walls using animations created by Massimiliano Siccardi, an Italian digital artist who also created digital experiences from Van Gogh's works in previous exhibitions.

“Siccardi projects Kahlo's work in a very different way than he used to study Van Gogh's,” Corey Ross, producer of Lighthouse Immersive, told Travel + Leisure. “He doesn't unify all the styles Kahlo used in her work, but instead presents them as a series of chaotic and contradictory movements that ultimately illuminate and highlight each other.”

"We will pursue Frida's world, a world where everything inside is always moving," Siccardi said. "We will explore the tenderness as well as the hatred in Frida's soul by looking at the way she observes things and imagines them, hoping that the stories of Frida's life can touch the emotions of those who come to experience this exhibition."

Works featured in the exhibition "Frida: Immersive Dream" include: "The Waged Deer"(The Wounded Deer), "The Two Fridas" (The Two Fridas),and"Diego and I"(Diego and I) - this is the work that sold for 34.9 million USD (nearly 800 billion VND) at an auction by Sotheby's, becoming the most expensive artwork by an artist from Latin America.

The exhibition “Frida: Immersive Dream” will open at the Germania Club Building (Chicago) on February 24, 2022 and is scheduled to run until May 28, 2022. During this time, the experience dedicated to Kahlo’s artworks will also be displayed in several other US cities such as Boston, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Toronto and Los Angeles. Tickets to the exhibition are also on sale now, starting at $39.99.
