Drifting between glaciers

As one of two states that does not border any other state in the US, most of Alaska is covered in ice and snow all year round. This ice paradise is always an endless source of inspiration for tourists because of the breathtaking beauty of its wild landscape.

This trip and these photos have been on my wish list for years. My good friend Jussi Ruottinen and I traveled to Seward, Alaska and rafted across the ice to Seward Helicopters, from where we flew to one of my favorite places - Bear Glacier.

I've flown over here many times, but never set foot in this place. This time, it was definitely on the list of things to do.

My favorite part of the place was the Glacier Lagoon, where the icebergs were so beautiful and we could get drone shots from the east (the west side is the best part, but it's in Kenai Fjords National Park).

On our last day in Alaska, it was pouring rain. We had a small BBQ and a fire by the Knik River, which originates from the Knik Glacier.
